Music & Stars of the Golden Yesteryears: Judy Garland

Aloha Bombshells,

Kicking off this brand new series I have chosen none other than the legendary Judy Garland, a first class singer and actress, born Frances Ethel Gumm in June 1922, she is for me one of the best entertainers to have ever walked this earth and in my opinion no one else will ever touch her, she was in a league of her own.

A huge voice from a small woman, she sang with pure emotion and it was effortless, probably most known for her role as Dorothy Gale in the (1939) movie the Wizard of Oz.

Here's Judy singing a couple of my favourite songs one that she is now most known for 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' and 'Smile' you can hear and see the emotion as she sings, she came alive when she was on stage, she later died at the age of 47 in Chelsea, England in 1969.
