A Flower Tells A Simple Story

Aloha Bombshells,

This year marks the 100th anniversary since the outbreak of WW1, and there have been many events because of this like the installation at the Tower of London which has been surrounded by a red sea of 888,246 ceramic poppies each one a representation of a life lost during the war but this doesn't include the many thousands of others that died across the sea, in total it is said 16 million lives were lost during conflict I can't even imagine that many.

"When you go home tell them of us and say that for your tomorrow, we gave our today."

Today is a day to remember each and every one of those service personnel, maybe someone that you were related to, even those you aren't, it's for them they gave their all for us, I'm always very proud to wear my poppy every year and it must never stop.

"They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old,
age shall not weary them nor the years condemn,
with the going down of the sun and in the morning
we will remember them"

Love & Hugs
